Northwest Thermal Solutions (“we”, “us”) operates nwheatcool.com. This policy explains what we collect on this website, why, and what we do with it. It covers the website only, not the paperwork or agreements involved in an installation or service call.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the estimate or contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and anything you write in the message field. If you call us, we have your phone number and whatever you tell us on the call.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information through analytics: pages viewed, approximate location by region, referring site, device and browser type, and how long you stayed. This is collected through Google Analytics and is not tied to your name.
Advertising. We advertise through Google. If you arrive from an ad, Google may set a cookie so it can tell us that the visit and any resulting form submission came from that ad. We see totals, not the identity of individual people.
Why we collect it
- To respond to estimate requests and service questions, usually by phone within 24 hours.
- To schedule and carry out the work you ask us to do.
- To understand which pages and which ads bring in real inquiries, so we spend less on the ones that do not.
- To keep the site working and secure.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not send marketing email to people who only asked for an estimate, unless they asked to hear from us.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that make the business run, and only as far as they need it:
- Our website host and the email service that delivers form submissions to us.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, for the measurement described above.
- Equipment manufacturers and utilities, when your installation involves a warranty registration, a permit, or a rebate application you have asked us to handle.
- Anyone we are legally required to share it with.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies for analytics and advertising measurement. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and you can control ad personalization in your Google Ad Settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using the site or contacting us.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry records and customer records for as long as we need them to service the work and its warranty, and to meet tax and legal requirements. Analytics data is retained on Google’s standard schedule.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call (206) 222-6023 or email Contact@nwheatcool.com and we will take care of it. If you ask us to delete records tied to an active warranty, we will tell you what we have to keep and why.
Children
This site is meant for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
