What We Handle

Air conditioning services for Kirkland-area homeowners.

New AC Installation

First-time central cooling added to your existing furnace or air handler, sized to the home.

System Replacement

Full swap-out of an aging or undersized condenser, with a documented startup.

Diagnostic & Repair

Weak cooling, ice on the lines, or a unit that won't kick on, diagnosed before anything gets replaced.

Seasonal Maintenance

Coil cleaning and refrigerant checks that keep efficiency up and your warranty intact.

Know The Warning Signs

Signs your AC is struggling.

Puget Sound summers used to be mild enough to skip air conditioning. The last few heat waves changed that, and an undersized or failing system shows itself fast when the temperature spikes. A diagnostic visit tells you whether a repair will hold or whether replacement is the smarter call.

Schedule a diagnostic visit

Weak or warm airflow

Air moving through the vents that never gets properly cold.

Short-cycling

The unit starts and stops repeatedly instead of running a full cooling cycle.

Rising summer bills

A noticeable increase without any change in how you cool your home.

Losing ground in heat waves

A system that keeps up on a warm day but falls behind when temperatures spike.

Honest Equipment Talk

Midea for AC-only installs, with a straight answer on the alternatives.

The AC line

Midea

Our AC-only installations use Midea, backed by a 12-year parts warranty and a 4-year labor warranty in writing. Value-engineered cooling without a premium-brand markup.

Same manufacturer

Bosch

Midea builds the units sold under the Bosch name. If you've been quoted a Bosch system elsewhere, you're comparing the same equipment.

The two-way upgrade

Heat Pumps

Want cooling and heating from one system? A Mitsubishi or Trane heat pump costs more upfront but carries a matched labor warranty of up to 12 years, and utility rebates can apply.

The Headline Differentiator

Warranty coverage in writing, on every tier we install.

AC-only installs carry a 12-year Midea parts warranty with 4 years of labor. Step up to a heat pump and the labor warranty matches the parts warranty, year for year.

Written, Not Just Spoken

No service charge on covered calls.

Big-brand installers advertise long warranties, then charge a $200 to $300 service fee every visit. We don't. If a covered issue comes up on a system that hasn't been neglected, the visit costs nothing.

Why Kirkland Homeowners Choose Us

Sizing is the whole game with air conditioning.

An oversized AC short-cycles and never dries the air. An undersized one runs all day and still loses the heat wave. Mark and Vlad size every system to the home, and they're on every job.

01
Sized from your home's actual cooling load, not a rule of thumb.
02
EPA Universal certified, Seattle Refrigeration Licensed.
03
All work done in-house, never subcontracted.
How It Works

From first call to cold air, in five steps.

01
Assessment of your ductwork, existing equipment, and your home's cooling load.
02
Equipment selection, with straight talk on AC-only versus a heat pump.
03
Installation to manufacturer specs, no shortcuts.
04
Documented startup: refrigerant charge, airflow, and temperature drop verified.
05
Homeowner walkthrough: thermostat, filter schedule, and how your warranty works.
Utility Rebates

AC-only installs don't earn rebates. Heat pumps do.

Straight answer: current PSE and Snohomish PUD rebate programs reward heat pumps, not air conditioners. A heat pump cools exactly like an AC and heats in winter, and the rebate can close much of the price gap. We'll run both numbers before you decide, and if you land on AC-only, that's a fine choice too.

What's the difference between an AC and a heat pump?+
An air conditioner only cools. A heat pump heats and cools from the same system by reversing the refrigerant flow. They cool identically in summer; the heat pump just keeps working in winter.
Do I need ductwork for central AC?+
Yes. Central AC cools through your existing furnace or air handler ducting. If your home has no ducts, a ductless mini-split delivers the same cooling room by room without any duct installation.
Why does sizing matter so much?+
An oversized system short-cycles, wears out faster, and leaves the air clammy. An undersized one runs nonstop on hot days and still loses ground. We size from your home's actual cooling load before quoting anything.
Is Midea good equipment?+
Midea is a global manufacturer that builds the units sold under the Bosch name. We back it with a 12-year parts warranty and 4 years of labor in writing, which tells you what we think of it.
How does the warranty work on an AC install?+
Midea AC systems carry a 12-year parts warranty and a 4-year labor warranty, in writing. If a covered issue comes up on a system that hasn't been neglected, no service charge on the visit.
How much does AC installation cost in Kirkland?+
Cost depends on system size, your ductwork, and whether a heat pump makes more sense once rebates are counted. We'll walk your home, run both numbers, and give you a written quote before any work begins.
